Understand the problem first. Find the right solution second.

IT Go was founded out of a frustration with how much of the IT industry operates: leading with products instead of problems, recommending shiny solutions before anyone has properly understood what a business actually needs.

Nathan Gemmill, Director and Founder, has been working in IT since December 2012, with experience spanning local government, regional hospitals and healthcare, insurance brokers and providers, retail and a range of other industries. That breadth of exposure means a genuine understanding of how IT operates in complex, high-stakes environments, not just in theory.

The technical depth behind IT Go includes enterprise networking with Aruba, virtualisation with VMware, and extensive Windows environments - Active Directory, WinTel administration, and the infrastructure that keeps organisations running day to day.

IT Go operates as a lean, focused practice. Nathan works directly with every client, with no account manager in the middle. For development work and during peak periods or planned leave, a trusted technical partner provides continuity, so you're never left without support.

How we work

The principles that guide every client relationship and every technical decision.

Proactive, not reactive

We monitor and maintain your systems continuously, resolving potential issues before they affect your business.

Partnership, not transactions

We work as an extension of your team, invested in your long-term success, not just closing a ticket.

Locally grounded

Based in Greater Geelong, we understand the local business community and are always close when you need us.

Security first

Every recommendation considers security as a baseline, not an afterthought or an optional add-on.
